Our favorite beaches:

Broad Haven South: This fine white sandy beach is backed by impressive sand dunes. Parking is made possible above the beach and here you'll find toilets as well as an ice cream truck. Access to the beach is via steps down the cliff. At the base of the steps you'll find large boulders as well as an island where you can discover some caves. If you follow the beach you'll eventually come to a stream that flows out of the lily ponds. Follow the path and you're on your way to the Bosherston Lily Ponds. And if you make it that far don't forget to stop off at world famous Bosherston Tea Gardens!

Barafundle Bay: With such such clear blue water and fine sands it really is a small piece of paradise. The setting is like something out of the Pirates of the Carribean trilogy, they could have easily been filmed here. The bay is owned by the National Trust.

Manorbier: A great beach with fine sand and good surf but take care as it's currents are very strong. Facilities include toliets, an ice cream truck and parking. Nearby you'll find Manorbier castle which was used in the BBC's The Chronicles of Narnia.

Tenby Harbour: A small sandy beach which is ideal for children. Tenby Harbour is a picturesque harbour which you'll find built into the very corner on the North Beach. Nearby you'll also find the old and new lifeboat stations. It's possible to take a boat trip to Caldey Island from here.

Newport Sands: A very popular beach with all kinds of watersports enthusiasts Newport Sands is a broad, long sandy beach backed by dunes.
