Our favorite museums:

Pembrokeshire Motor Museum: This is located at Keeston 4 miles from Haverfordwest. In the museum there are over 40 cars giving a complete history of the motor car, ranging from a 1906 Rover to a ‘modern’ 1969 Jaguar 'E' type series II.

Haverfordwest Town Museum: Special Exhibitions currently include Horrible Homicides of Haverfordwest, King John and the Charter of 1207 as well as 'Little Bath' giving the visitor insights to Georgian Haverfordwest.

Dylan Thomas' boat house: Dylan Thomas lived at the Boathouse for the last few years of his life during which he wrote several major pieces of work including Under Milk Wood. Now a heritage centre the Boathouse contains audio visual presentations, original furnishings and memorabilia, including a themed bookshop, tea room, a viewing platform and terrace.

Tenby Museum and Gallery: Tenby Museum is actually the oldest independent museum in Wales, dating back to 1878. Founded by a local retired professional gentlemen whom were also amateur naturalists or archaeologists. Today the displays include: Local archaeology and geology galleries, the Story of Tenby, Maritime history and Tenby Lifeboat , Piracy, Natural History of Pembrokeshire, New Art Gallery.

Pembroke Dock Martello towers: For defensive reasons a number of fortifications were built around the Dockyard including two Martello Towers. The one located at Front Street built in 1851 enjoys a new role as the town's museum. A visit to the Gun Tower is a great experience for all.
